Bio: Viktoria Bakos, Founder & Editor

Viktoria Bakos is the founder and editor of FairByDesign. She reports on what AI systems are actually allowed to do, who gave them that authority, and what happens when control fails. Her background combines academic research in cybersecurity law with real-world governance work, and her reporting moves between policy, architecture, security, evidence and human consequence.

She leads the Mercury Brief, Mercury Intelligence and the FairByDesign Evidence Lab, and hosts the Ethics Engine podcast and video series.
